Bardel is currently recruiting for an experienced People & Culture (Human Resources) Coordinator to work collaboratively with our Emmy award winning studio team to cover a maternity leave position. 


Position Overview:
As the People & Culture Coordinator, you will support the People & Culture department in day-to-day tasks and plays a critical role in facilitating communication between all levels throughout the organization. The People & Culture Coordinator must be diligent, organized, detail-oriented and be willing to learn and assume new tasks on an ongoing basis.


What You Will Be Doing:

  • Prepares, executes and owns the full process of employee documentation throughout their life cycle, from beginning to end of the employment relationship
  • Facilitate onboarding and orientation for all new hires through pre-hire communication, onboarding at the office to ensure a positive and engaging employee experience
  • Maintain all employee files, ensure all new hires, status changes and terminations are communicated effectively to all relevant stakeholders
  • Ensure all documentation is collected and saved in the appropriate files, ensure completeness and accuracy of information
  • Provide assistant to employees on a number of HR issues including HR policies, vacation and benefits programs, and process flow for new hires, transfers and employment status changes
  • Maintain information integrity and execute proper record keeping practices in HRIS and the filing system
  • Assists the People & Culture department with filing, scanning, printing, data entry, as needed.
  • Assist with performance and compensation review processes
  • Support compensation programs to input data to third party compensation surveys and support annual company-wide salary review process
  • Work collaboratively with the People & Culture team to develop world class strategies to ensure communication and processes across all locations and teams remains best practice, consistent and seamless
  • Support and coordinate recruitment efforts as needed
  • Assists the HR team with all administrative duties such as photocopying, typing, filing, phone calls and faxing.
  • Performs research, benchmarking, data gathering, reporting and presentation of options and recommendations on HR related projects
  • May perform analytical, and/or assist with research or project work as assigned


What You Bring To The Table: 

  • 2+ years of HR experience in a Coordinator or Generalist capacity
  • Bachelor’s Degree in HR or related discipline is preferred
  • Strong working knowledge of MS Office suite (Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
  • Highly organized with a strong attention to detail
  • Hands on with a ‘can-do’ attitude
  • Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality
  • Strong working knowledge of MS Office suite (Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
