Payroll and Benefits Assistant

Bardel and its Emmy award winning studio team is currently searching for a Payroll & Benefits Assistant to join our Vancouver facility. You will be responsible for providing backup and support the Payroll and Benefits Coordinator as well as support the Finance and Accounting team. There will also be collaboration with the People and Culture team with cross function projects and tasks. 


What you will be doing:

  • Act as backup to Payroll & Benefits Coordinator for payroll processing across all 3 Bardel studios (no travel required)
  • Administer MSP group plan for all employees at Bardel
  • Track documents for CRA tracking and secondary information related to new hires
  • Act as sole communicator to applicable employees in collecting necessary data information 
  • Other Finance, Accounting or People & Culture tasks as required


What you bring to the table:

  • Previous experience with ADP an asset
  • Recent grad or up to 2 years’ experience in similar administrative role (payroll or accounting)
  • Strong experience in Microsoft Excel and tracking documents
  • Comfortable in employee-facing administrative role
